Jorge Arbache, Professor of Economics at the University of Brasilia, and Secretary for International Affairs in the Ministry of Planning, Brazil. He has served in many positions, including chief economist in the Ministry of Planning, senior economist in the World Bank, and senior economic advisor in the Brazilian Development Bank. He has also served in many advisory roles, both in Brazil and abroad. He has made several contributions to the study of development, globalization, international trade, economics of the service sector, and the digital economy.
