Gustavo Rojas de Cerqueira César

Economic Advisor of the Brazilian Embassy in Buenos Aires

Gustavo Rojas de Cerqueira César is a Brazilian-Paraguayan international relations analyst specialized in the field of international economics and trade. He graduated from Catholic University of Minas Gerais - PUC Minas in International Relations and has a Master degree in International Relations and Negotiations from FLACSO/San Andrés/University of Barcelona.

Currently, he serves as Economic Advisor of the Brazilian Embassy in Buenos Aires. He is also a researcher at the Center for Analysis and Diffusion of the Paraguayan Economy (CADEP) and Professor of International Economic Relations at University of Belgrano (Argentina). He previously has served as a consultant for the International Institute for Educational Planning for Latin America (IIEP-UNESCO) and as an assistant in the Secretary of Economic Development of the Government of the State of Minas Gerais (Brazil).

He also has published articles and lectured in international conferences. His main topics of interest are cooperation among developing countries, regional integration, trade policy and economic development strategies.
