Edna Ramírez Robles

Edna Ramírez Robles is currently working at the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies of Geneva as a Post-Doc Fellow and Coordinator of the PhD program: "ProDoc on International Law". She is also an Independent Consultant that advices governments on RTAs and WTO dispute settlement, as well as on trade facilitation issues. She has already adviced to Developing Countries and LDCs in technical assistance projects (financed by the EU, UNCTAD, Enhanced Integrated Framework and IADB). Before, Ms. Ramirez worked at UNCTAD (Trade Facilitation) and at the Legal Affairs Division of the World Trade Organization (WTO) as a contract Legal Affairs Officer (SPS case). Prior to this, she worked at the Integration and Trade Sector of the Inter-American Development Bank (IADB). Ms Ramirez has also served as a judge at the ELSA Moot Court Competition on WTO Law and as a Guest Lecturer at the Universidad Carlos III of Madrid, WTO Law module. She has also been a Visiting Scholar at: Georgetown Law Center in Georgetown University, WTO Economic Research Division and the Graduate Institute for International Studies of the University of Geneva.
